Janet Carter completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Edith Cowan University in 2008, followed by Honours in Contemporary Arts in 2010. Her practice embraces sculpture, installation and new media works. She is primarily concerned with investigating contemporary conceptions around gender, sexuality, desire and embodied identity. This is the first time she has taken off her clothes in the pursuit of art.
