Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, Perth WA
In October 2013 the entire Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts was transformed
by twelve intimate performances tailor-made for an audience of one.
Audiences could leave a trace themselves in the gallery of impermanent things, destroy an artwork and make another, experiment with plants, hunt or be hunted.
There are few limitations in Proximity Festival, but one rule remains – one artist and one audience member alone, in a space, together.
