Martyn Coutts is an interdisciplinary artist working across theatre making, dance dramaturgy, video design and festival curation. His interest is in the live body inaction, its relationship to technology and to its observer. His work I Think I Can (with Sam Routledge) has been presented twenty times around Australia, the US, Canada, Netherlands, UK and Taiwan. Martyn is a founding member of Melbourne-based art collective Field Theory, he is the performance programmer on the Artistic Directorate of The Unconformity in Tasmania.
