In October the entire Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts will be transformed
by twelve intimate performances tailor-made for an audience of one.
Leave a trace of yourself in the gallery of impermanent things, destroy an artwork and make another, experiment with plants, hunt or be hunted. There are few limitations in Proximity Festival, but one rule remains – one artist and one audience member alone, in a space, together.
Select a program of four performances lasting 80 minutes or experience a marathon of all twelve performances in four hours.
PROGRAM A Elise Reitze, Cat Jones, Humphrey Bower, Loren Kronemyer
PROGRAM B Rachel Arianne Ogle, Ian Sinclair, Janet Pettigrew, Leon Hendroff /Emma Craig
PROGRAM C Sarah Elson, Moya Thomas, Janet Carter, Daniel Nevin
